More than a restaurant, The Capri is a sensory experience.
The Capri is woven into the very fabric of Marfa, Texas—its land, its people, and its cultural pulse. Our adobe building is made from the soil beneath our feet, grounding us in a sense of place that simply couldn’t exist anywhere else. Every part of the high desert—the sky, flora, fauna, and the creative community that surrounds us—shapes who we are.
We wanted the Capri to embody the feeling of the history on the border. We wanted the air to feel thick with possibility and the thrill of cultural abandon.
We offer sustenance not only through food, but through art, music, and the many textures of culture that define Marfa.
We’re a roadside saloon only in the literal sense: perched just off Highway 90, four quiet blocks from the town’s main drag. Some visitors stumble upon us by chance; others travel across the world to find us.
